Simon Rimmer

Celebrity chef Simon Rimmer co-hosted popular cooking show Something for the Weekend and many others. He also founded a vegetarian restaurant, so it is no wonder he made a fortune. Simon Rimmer’s net worth is approximately £2.5 million ($3.2 million) in 2017 and he is now also performing in reality TV competition Strictly Come Dancing.

Simon was born May 5, 1963 in Wallasey, United Kingdom. He studied fashion and textile design but eventually decided that his biggest passion is cooking and made a living out of it. He opened a vegetarian restaurant in West Didsbury called Greens and this investment paid off. Another source of income are royalties from his book titled The Accidental Vegetarian.

Rimmer would be rich without the doubt even if it weren’t about his television career. But with it, his net worth is even better. He hosted numerous cooking programmes, such as Daily Brunch, Tricks of the Restaurant Trade, and Win It, Cook It. In 2012, he competed against other top chefs in Great British Menu.

The year 2017 will allow us to see his out of his element. No cooking this time, Rimmer is going to be dancing! We don’t know yet who is his professional dance partner but there are some great options in season fifteen. He currently lives with his family in Manchester and this contest might stir his life a little bit.
